Split the cost of a padel court

Court, balls, drinks: type the amounts, pick the number of players, and everyone knows what they owe. The message is ready to paste into the group chat.

How much does a padel court cost?

Across Europe, a court for an hour and a half usually costs between €20 and €60, depending on the club, the time and the season: with four players, that is €5 to €15 each. Evenings and weekends cost more, off-peak hours much less. Add a tube of balls, around €6 to €10, if nobody brings one.

When the numbers don’t divide evenly

€50 between three is €16.666…: nobody pays a third of a cent. The calculator charges €16.67 to two players and €16.66 to the third, and the total comes back to exactly €50. Nobody loses, nobody gains.

And every other week?

A calculator is fine for one evening. When the same group plays every week, it is never the same person who books, and small debts pile up. Bandeja’s group expenses record every cost, show who owes what to whom, and settle everything in as few transfers as possible, with each player’s payment link.

Frequently asked questions

How do you split the price of a padel court?

Add the court price and the extras (balls, drinks), then divide by the number of players. Four players on a €44 court with €8 of balls pay €13 each. The calculator above does it for you, to the cent.

What if it is never the same person who pays?

Record each cost over the weeks instead of paying back every time. Bandeja’s group expenses do it for free for the whole group, and work out the simplest transfers to settle up.

Is this calculator free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no ads. Nothing is sent anywhere: the calculation runs on your phone.
