Find padel players near you
Missing a fourth for Thursday, just moved to a new city, or your group is going round in circles? Here is where to look, and how Bandeja connects players in the same area.
Matches near you, in Bandeja
When someone is missing, a Bandeja group can open its match to players nearby. On your side, you choose a place and a radius of 10, 25 or 50 km, and you see the matches looking for a player: the club, the time, the level, the free spots. You ask to play, the organiser accepts, and you are in.
An alert tells you when a match near you is looking for someone. Your position is only kept to the nearest kilometre, and only for that alert.
Five ways to find a fourth player
- Your club: the club’s WhatsApp group, the front desk, the board of players looking for a match.
- The club’s Americanos and tournaments: you play with everyone and leave with phone numbers.
- Bandeja’s public matches, around your home or your club.
- Colleagues and friends of friends: a message with the day and time works better than “anyone free?”.
- Players you met once: after a match outside your group, Bandeja offers to invite them into your group.
Playing with people at your level
A good match is a close match. In Bandeja, everyone estimates their level from 1 to 7, the scale clubs use, by answering five questions rather than guessing. Every public match shows its level: you know before asking whether it is right for you.
Keeping the players you find
The hard part is not finding a fourth, it is finding them again the next week. Create a group, invite them, and everyone ticks their evenings: when there are four of you, the match is created.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find a padel partner?
Start with your club, its Americanos and its players’ group. In Bandeja, matches near you show the local groups looking for a player, with their level and free spots.
What if a player drops out at the last minute?
In Bandeja, the organiser opens the match to players from other groups around the club. They ask to play, the organiser chooses. It is a Bandeja+ feature.
Do I have to pay to join a match near me?
No. Looking for a match and asking to play are free. Only opening your own match to other groups is part of Bandeja+.
